Our Story

This project originates after several tourists visited the La Soplaera River in Peñuelas PR on October 8, 2022 and were swept away by flash flood in which two women, Jackie and Jessie (my daughter), perished; in their memory and with the goal of avoiding more drowning victims, we want to urge visitors to stay aware of weather conditions, especially in bodies of water.
