Our Story

This project originates after several tourists visited the La Soplaera River in Peñuelas PR on October 8, 2022 and were swept away by a surge of water in which two women, Jackie and Jessie (my daughter), perished; in their memory and with the goal of avoiding more drowning victims, we want to urge visitors to stay aware of weather conditions, especially in bodies of water.
